One of the oldest residents of Great Britain celebrated his 107th birthday and shared the secrets of longevity. This is reported by the BBC.
Gladys Kightley was born on 25 October 1916 in Prickwillow, Cambridgeshire. For some time, the British woman lived in London, where she worked as a nanny, but later returned to her home, where she lived later.
In 1940, he got married. He has two daughters, 74 and 80 years old.
After retirement, the woman continued to lead an active lifestyle. He delivered groceries to local residents, many of whom were 20 years younger than him.
In her 80s, Gladys rode her bike regularly. According to the 107-year-old British woman, one of the reasons for her longevity is her refusal to smoke and drink alcohol.
